Production area of the grapes: Vineyards in the municipality of Bellona, adjacent to the winery.

Agronomic characteristics of the land: Franco silt, commonly known as medium-textured, arising from the volcanic ash of Roccamonfina and Campi Flegrei, an 'altitude of 80 m above sea level;

Grape variety: 100% Casavecchia;
Cultivation system: Guyot;
Vine density: 4,000 vines / ha;
Grape Yield per hectare: 80 quintals;
Harvest: Manual in boxes of 20 kg plastic;
Harvest time: I - II week of October;

Vinification: The grapes are immediately transported to the cellar, where they undergo a destemming and a soft pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks AISI 304 at a controlled temperature of 27-28° C. After racking and a first transfer with elimination of scum it starts the aging in large oak barrels that lasts 15 to 18 months, after bottling, there is a further refinement in the bottle for about six months.

Organoleptic Profile: The color is ruby red with slightly violet reflections . A nose is possible to perceive aromas of ripe red fruit, berries, violet, vanilla and spicy notes. In the mouth it presents an authoritative structure, with elegant tannins and well developed. The persistence and taste-olfactory are excellent.
